Charity Hospital, the largest public hospital in New Orleans, did not reopen after Hurricane Katrina. In Charity’s place, the city and the state have decided to build a new biomedical teaching facility. This is the largest economic development planned for the city since the Superdome. Tulane has a seat on the governance board, so come in and learn about the plan. Attend this forum on the impact of the new medical complex.
