Tulane Christmas

Screw paper, try this Christmas “wrap”

Yo, the Hull ‘bout to “spin” game like a Jew on a dreidel
‘Cause it’s Christmas time when Jesus chills in the cradle.
Now don’t bitch; we know it’s also Hanukkah and Kwanzaa,
But Jews still love Santa ‘cause he looks like George Costanza.
So whether menorah or tree, kaftans or candles,
It’s time to celebrate with cookies and help out those love handles.
The Hull wishes happy holidays to all, no matter your Yuletide preference,
But if you don’t like Christmas, treat the following song with indifference.

The following is our take on the “Twelve Days of Christmas.” Substitute these Tulane alternatives while singing the memorable holiday jingle.

On the (insert ordinal number) day of Christmas, Scott Cowen gave to me:
a slice of Boot pizza
2 Bruff swipes left
3 football wins
4 “+1” programs
5 dollar Panda Bowls
6 flights up Newcomb
7 months construction
8 floors of Butler
9 days of finals
10 thousand students
11 trips to Maple
12 minimum credit hours

We leave you with the famous words of “Angels with Dirty Faces”: “Merry Christmas, ya filthy animal. And a happy new year.” See you in the spring.
