Fans are outraged after a UFC veteran says'someone might die' at a fight event.

Mike Perry, a former UFC fighter, has sparked controversy with an expletive-laden rant ahead of the first-ever 'Triad Combat' event on Saturday.

Perry, 30, will face heavyweight boxer Michael Seals on what will be an historic night at the Globe Lite Field in Arlington. Perry, 30, had 15 fights with the UFC before recently signing with the bare-knuckle boxing promotion BKFC.

Professional MMA fighters and boxers will compete in two-minute rounds in a triangular ring designed by Triller Fight Club, a concept that promoters have dubbed "revolutionary."

Only punches will be allowed, similar to boxing, with no kicks or elbows allowed.

However, in order to strike a balance between the two combat sports, this new fighting style will allow clinching - and striking from the clinch.

Former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir and former boxing world title challenger Kubrat Pulev of Bugaria will headline the night, but Perry's fight with Seals is a must-see on the undercard.

'Platinum' added fuel to the fire with a foul-mouthed prediction during the pre-fight press conference.

"Let's go, for real," he said. "Mother*****s are going to bleed, mother*****s are going to get f****d up, and someone might die."

"Straight up, it's a fight, what y'all want from us?" Perry was asked, but he continued, "I'm gonna f**k this dude up, we going at it."

Seals, 39, refused to engage in death talk, and Perry later took to Instagram to clarify his remarks.

"You may not want to discuss death, but it is an inevitable part of life," he wrote.

"What makes life so exciting is the ability to choose how you risk your lives."

Some people are already dead before they die.

I've always tried to get the most out of life.

"The more you take a chance, the more you put your life on the line, the longer you live."

Pundits and fans alike slammed his remarks, accusing the Michigan native of going too far in his efforts to promote the new venture.

His social media supporters, however, remained defiant in their support, as @beersandbrawlers wrote: "Always a fan, because you are a man... a warrior... and the United States needs more of you."

"May God bless you, your fists, and your loved ones."

Meanwhile, @k. palfrey96 declared Perry's performance a "10-8 round in the press conference for MMA."

"Let's go, for real," he said. "Mother*****s are going to bleed, mother*****s are going to get f****d up, and someone might die."

"What makes life so exciting is the ability to choose how you risk your lives."
