Mehmet Oz's first official date with Lisa Oz, according to Yahoo, was "kind of a disaster" because he took her to a steakhouse.

According to the New York Times, she has been a vegetarian since she was 15 years old.

Despite their first date being awkward, the couple quickly fell in love.

They dated for about six months before getting engaged, according to Shape magazine.
