Leah McSweeney's revealing outfit has been slammed by fans.
Leah McSweeney, of "Real Housewives of New York City" fame, is a fashion designer known for her bold style.
According to the Daily Mail, on December 10,2021, the reality TV star took time off to host the Studs and DeuxMoi star-studded event.
The 39-year-old wore an Alejandro Collection sheer long-sleeved crop top with an artistic pattern and a matching bodycon skirt.
She completed her ensemble with black strappy heels.
On Instagram, the founder of Married to the Mob shared photos from the holiday gathering.
The actress Hari Nef, comedian Ziwe Fumudoh, and "Summer House" stars Lindsay Hubbard and Danielle Olivera were among those photographed with the 39-year-old.
A video of McSweeney showing off her dance moves was also included in the Instagram post.
"Is there a fashion designer who doesn't have any fashions?" one commenter wondered.
"Leah has no idea how to dress at all. She acts like she's this downtown chick who's into the younger fashion crowd that's shaping the industry, but home girl misses the Mark EVERY TIME. GIRL HIRE A STYLIST," said another.
"This may be the ugliest garment my eyes have ever had the displeasure of gazing upon. Excuse me while I go get hypnotherapy to forget about this affront to fashion and nature," one Reddit user said.
"Do you think the clothes she wears are expensive? I'm no fashion expert, but everything she wears looks so cheap," a fourth person asserted.
"She has no concept of street style, and she has no idea how to mix high and low; how she built a fashion business is beyond me," a fifth social media user added.
McSweeney discussed whether she thinks starring on "RHONY" has changed her during an April 2021 appearance on the "Chicks in the Office" podcast.
She said she believes she is "the same person" she was before she was thrust into the spotlight.
She went on to say that she believes people "are supposed to change."
"As time goes on, we're supposed to evolve as people," the mother of one explained.
The 39-year-old, who joined the cast of "RHONY" during its twelfth season, also discussed her sobriety on the "Chicks in the Office" podcast.
She admitted that she was hesitant to not drink while filming season 13 of "RHONY." She explained that heavy drinking "does make for great TV sometimes."
"I have that in the back of my head for sure. It was in the front of my head, I'm not going to lie," McSweeney said. "But at the end of the day, my health, my life, and the well-being of my daughter like comes first, so if I'm a whack reality TV star not drunk, then that's it and maybe it's not for me," he added.
