Tammy Slaton and her '1000-lb Sisters' are planning a romantic trip to Las Vegas.
On 1000-lb Sisters, Tammy Slaton is getting serious with her boyfriend Phillip.
Amy Slaton, her sister, and the rest of her family have been adamantly opposed to the relationship.
They're all concerned that Phillip isn't Tammy's healthiest partner and doesn't support her weight-loss goals.
TLC fans have been wary of this newcomer as well.
Despite this, Tammy is still planning a trip to Las Vegas to meet Phillip in person.
Tammy and a family member, Misty, discussed her mobility after she returned from rehab and how she hadn't exercised since returning home.
"At rehab, I was walking around a lot," Tammy explained to the cameras. "But now my knees hurt, and my oxygen level drops, and when it drops, I get dizzy, so it's hard for me to move around as much as I want to."
Despite her inability to walk long distances, Tammy told Misty that she was considering visiting her boyfriend in Vegas.
"We're still talking and getting to know each other," she said, "and I'm considering going out there to see him."
"Just getting up to go to the bathroom is difficult for you," Misty warned.
"In Vegas, people walk a lot."
"Phillip and I are getting closer to becoming something significant, so why shouldn't I go meet him?" Tammy confessed.
"I mean, there are always concerns, but I've never done, like, teenage things, what kids did when they were younger, and I want to experience that now. I don't care what other people think or want; I just want to make myself happy for once."
"I suppose I'd feel better about it if you were better able to look after yourself," Misty said.
"Tammy needs to lose some weight so she can do things like that," Misty explained to the camera, "but now that she has somebody paying attention to her, it's like she's in the mindset of 'I'm gonna do what I want to do' instead of doing what needs to be done."
Tammy's family members aren't the only ones who are worried about her getting to Las Vegas.
"It's fine if she wants to experience those things," one fan wrote on Reddit, "but it puts everyone else out and they do all the work."
"Plus, how is she supposed to get through an airport, board a plane, and walk more than 5 feet?"
"I don't think Tammy will be able to board the plane," another person said.
"I don't think she'd be medically cleared to fly without at least a private physician accompanying her, given her recent health issues being even worse than previous issues."
Fans will have to tune in on Mondays at 10 p.m. ET to find out what happens on 1000-lb Sisters.
