Which member of the New Kids on the Block has the highest net worth?

New Edition, *NSYNC, The Backstreet Boys, and, of course, New Kids on the Block come to mind when you think of iconic boy bands.

NKOTB did it long before BTS ruled the charts and had fans all over the world screaming every time they took the stage.

After a 14-year hiatus, the band reformed in the mid-90s and released The Block, a comeback album.

And now, just like in the 1980s, NKOTB is selling out shows. Here's more on one of the most popular boy bands of all time, as well as how much each member is worth today.

NKTOB's first member was Donnie Wahlberg.

He auditioned for Maurice Starr when he was 15 years old, and after impressing the music producer, he enlisted the help of his friends Danny Wood, Jamie Kelly, siblings Jordan and Jonathan Knight, and his own brother Mark Wahlberg.

Mark and Kelly, however, decided to leave the group after a few months.

Joey McIntyre, a 12-year-old, was recruited by Starr in search of a new member.

"Please Don't Go Girl," "(You Got It) The Right Stuff," "Step by Step," and "Hangin' Tough" were among NKTOB's many hits. The group sold over 80 million records worldwide and over $400 million in merchandise.

Donnie once told Variety that they never imagined they would become as famous as they did.

"When we first started, our idea of being truly famous was something like being well-known in Boston," he said.

"Walking down the street and having the local pizza guy say, 'Hey Donnie, good work. Hey, have a slice!' was our goal."

Jonathan Knight left the band during the Face the Music tour in 1994, before the band decided to officially split.

He worked in real estate after leaving and lived a relatively quiet life until NKOTB's return in 2008.

He was in the spotlight for something other than music in 2015, when he and his partner Harley Rodriguez competed in The Amazing Race.

Jonathan began hosting the HGTV television show Farmhouse Fixer in 2021, and according to Celebrity Net Worth, he now has a net worth of $14 million.

Wood released several solo albums, including D-Fuse; Room Full of Smoke, D-Wood; Room Full of Smoke Vol.2, Second Face, Coming Home, and Stronger; Remember Betty, in addition to his work with New Kids on the Block.

Wood is the father of three children and announced on Instagram in 2019 that he had become a grandfather.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, he now has a net worth of $16 million.

Jordan Knight, Jonathan's younger brother, launched a solo career after the band disbanded, recording a handful of Top 40 singles, including "Give It to You." He's also appeared on several reality shows over the years.

Jordan is now married to Evelyn Melendez and the couple has two sons.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, he is worth $18 million.

McIntyre went on to sell over a million records as a solo artist after his success with New Kids.

He worked in television as well as on and off Broadway as a stage actor.

In 2003, he married Barrett Williams, with whom he has three children.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, his current net worth is $25 million.

Outside of NKOTB, Donnie Wahlberg is well-known for his acting.

He's appeared in a number of TV shows and films, and he currently stars in the popular series Blue Bloods.

He and his brothers, Mark and Paul, also own Wahlburgers restaurants.

He's been married to Jenny McCarthy since 2014, and his first marriage resulted in two sons.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Donnie is tied with McIntyre for the highest net worth among his NKOTB bandmates, with a combined net worth of $25 million.
